Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data — email plus optional profile fields (name, phone, WhatsApp, address, gender, birthday, style preferences).
• Guest sessions — guests receive an anonymous sign-in ID so carts, wishlists, quiz answers, and bookings work without an account.
• Orders & payments — order contents, delivery details, payment status. Card and wallet credentials are handled by payment providers (eSewa, Stripe); we never see or store them.
• Eye-care data — prescriptions, exam notes, and insurance documents you or a practitioner add. This is sensitive data, restricted to you and the authorized staff of the optical center serving you.
• Vision Mirror — the try-on camera feed stays on your device. Face images are never uploaded unless you explicitly save or share a snapshot.
• Usage data — basic analytics (screens viewed, quiz completion) to improve the product.

How we use it

• To provide shopping, delivery, appointments, prescriptions, and support.
• To share necessary order/appointment details with the optical center serving you.
• To send notifications you opt into. Marketing email is a separate opt-in, off by default.

Sharing

We share data only with (1) the optical center fulfilling your order or appointment, (2) payment providers, and (3) Firebase/Google Cloud as infrastructure. We do not sell personal data.

Retention & account deletion

Delete your account any time (Profile → Delete account). Your profile is anonymized and your email is replaced with a random reference. Order, payment, and appointment records that optical centers need for legal or accounting reasons are retained in anonymized form. Prescriptions and support content are deleted or anonymized where legally and operationally safe. Inactive guest sessions are purged after 180 days.

Your choices

• Use the app fully as a guest, without an account.
• Control notification categories in Profile → Settings.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data: admin@eachut.com.

Children

Kalo Chasma is not directed at children under 13. Eye exams for minors are arranged by a parent or guardian.

Changes

Material changes bump the document version and require re-acceptance in the app.
