Cylin lets a household in Nepal order LPG gas cylinders from the dealer who serves their address. You can connect your Cylin account to an AI app, such as Claude or ChatGPT, and then order gas or check on an order by asking for it in plain words. If you work for a Cylin dealer, you can also ask about the day's orders, sales and stock.
1. What you need
- A Cylin account. Accounts are created in the Cylin app with a Nepali mobile number.
- To order: a saved delivery address in the app that a Cylin dealer covers.
- An AI app that supports connectors (remote MCP servers), such as Claude or ChatGPT.
2. Connect
Cylin's connector address is https://cylinprod.eachut.com/mcp.
- Claude: find Cylin in the connector directory and choose Connect. If it is not listed for you yet, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste the address above.
- ChatGPT: find Cylin in the plugin directory and choose Connect. If it is not listed for you yet, go to Settings → Connectors → Create, paste the address above and choose OAuth.
Either way, a Cylin sign-in page opens:
- Enter the phone number or email on your Cylin account.
- Enter the 4-digit code we send you, by SMS or email.
- Read what the AI app will be able to do, and choose Allow.
Cylin never asks for a password, card or bank details on this page.
3. Things to ask
- “What gas brands and prices can I get at my home address?”
- “Order one refill of my usual cylinder to my default address.”
- “Where is my last gas order?”
- “Cancel the order I placed this morning.”
- “How much do I owe my gas dealer?”
- For dealers: “Which orders still need delivering today?”, “How were sales this month?”, “Who owes us money?”, “Mark order CYL-1042 as delivered.”
4. What it can do
The AI app sees exactly what you can see in the Cylin app, and nothing more. Which tools appear depends on your account.

5. Nothing changes without you
Every action that changes something happens in two steps. First the AI app gets a summary of exactly what will happen, for an order including the dealer, the items and the total in rupees, and shows it to you. Only after you say yes does it happen. If the price changes between the summary and your yes, the order is not placed, and you are asked again with the new total.
Placing an order through an AI app is the same as placing it in the Cylin app: the dealer delivers the cylinder and you pay them at the door, in cash or on your credit account with them. No money moves through Cylin or the AI app.
6. Limits
- Cylin assigns the dealer for your address. You cannot choose a different one.
- There is no live delivery tracking, only the order's status.
- Cylin delivers only where a dealer has a service area. If your address is not covered, it will say so.
- Amounts are whole Nepali rupees, and times are Nepal time.
7. Your information
When you connect an AI app, Cylin sends it the results of what you ask for: your orders, addresses, prices and credit balance, and for dealer staff the dealer's orders, including customers' names, phone numbers and delivery addresses. What the AI app does with that is covered by that app's own privacy policy. Cylin does not receive your conversation, only the specific request for each tool.
Cylin keeps a record that the app is connected, with its name, and logs the actions taken through it the same way it logs actions in the Cylin app. See the Cylin privacy policy for everything Cylin collects and how to delete it.
8. Disconnect
In the Cylin app, open Settings → Devices and sign out the AI app's entry. It can no longer renew its access, which ends within an hour. You can also remove Cylin from the connector list in the AI app.
